DAC technology already scalable, energy-efficient and impactful!

The broadcast of Nieuwsuur on Saturday 2 November 2024 was all about CO2 removal. The climate agreement states that CO2 emissions must be 49% less by 2030 compared to 1990, and by 2050 CO2 emissions must be reduced by as much as 95%, all to combat global warming. But how does CO2 reduction actually work and what is already being done in this area?

Nieuwsuur found out and approached us to tell more about the technology SCW is working on. Marijn Duintjer Tebbens, reporter at Nieuwsuur, interviewed Gerard Essing, founder and CEO of SCW Systems.
